ESP2 Technology:
ESP2 is Directed's exclusive serial communications protocol that allows extra ultra-security, high-speed communication between systems and enables many key features.
Long-time Clifford system users will notice the following differences:
A new rolling-code format we call SuperCode. SuperCode assigns most functions to dedicated buttons, so many features work slightly different. The icons on the buttons are also different. Current Directed remotes won’t work with Responder LE systems. No more simultaneous multiple button presses.
Instead, there is now a Function button. Pressing more than one button at the same time now generates an error tone.

I have always purchased Clifford, this one is the best so far. The range and accuracy of the 2 way remote is pretty darn cool. I love the visual confirmation when it accepts and starts the car or arms or disarms the locks. I am a little dissapointed that I paid 479 and now it is 264.00. I will have to go to Car Toys tomorrow and see if they can adjust this for me since I just bought this a week and a half ago. Awesome and the two way remote is worth it. William B Aurora, Colorado
